WOMEN’S A COMPETITIVE TEAM
āThe Women’s A Competitive Team is designed for athletes who are serious about competing at the A level, improving their performance, and working toward the podium in local tournaments.
Our goal is to create a committed, competitive team environment where athletes train consistently, develop strong partnerships, and prepare strategically for tournament competition.
1. Minimum Commitment
Participation in the Women’s A Competitive Team requires a minimum commitment of 5 consecutive months.
This commitment is important because competitive volleyball requires consistency, team chemistry, technical development, and preparation over time.
Athletes are expected to:
-
Attend training consistently.
-
Arrive on time and ready to train.
-
Participate actively and respectfully.
-
Communicate in advance regarding absences.
-
Commit to improving both individual and team performance.
2. Competitive Level
This program is intended for athletes who are prepared to compete at the Women’s A level.
Training will focus on:
-
Advanced beach volleyball skills
-
Offensive and defensive strategy
-
Serve and receive
-
Blocking and defense
-
Shot selection and court awareness
-
Communication and teamwork
-
Tournament strategy
-
Mental preparation and competitive consistency
Athletes may be evaluated by the coach to ensure that the training environment remains appropriate for the A-level team.
3. Tournament Participation
The team will participate in selected local tournaments throughout the season.
Tournament participation is intended for athletes who are actively committed to the program and prepared to represent the team competitively.
Athletes are expected to communicate their tournament availability in advance so that partners, lineups, and tournament plans can be organized properly.
4. Tournament-Day Coaching
Tournament-day coaching is included only for athletes who have committed to the minimum 5-month Women’s A Competitive Team program.
Athletes who participate only occasionally or who have not made the required 5-month commitment will not receive tournament-day coaching through the team program.
Tournament-day coaching may include:
-
Match preparation
-
Game-plan development
-
Tactical adjustments
-
Coaching between matches
-
Opponent observation and strategy
-
Technical and strategic feedback
-
Tournament support throughout the competition
The purpose of this policy is to provide consistent tournament support to athletes who are making a long-term commitment to the team and its competitive development.
5. Attendance & Commitment
Consistent attendance is an important part of being a competitive team member.
If an athlete repeatedly misses practices without communication, the coach may reassess the athlete’s participation in upcoming tournaments or team activities.
Absences due to legitimate circumstances should be communicated as early as possible.
6. Team Environment
All athletes are expected to maintain a positive, respectful, and competitive environment.
Athletes must:
-
Respect coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and tournament staff.
-
Encourage teammates.
-
Accept coaching and constructive feedback.
-
Maintain a professional attitude during practices and tournaments.
-
Represent the team and Premium Academy appropriately.
Unsportsmanlike behavior, disrespect, or behavior that negatively affects the team environment may result in removal from practices or tournaments.
7. Competitive Commitment
Joining the Women’s A Competitive Team means making a commitment not only to individual improvement, but also to the team, training process, and competitive goals.
Our objective is to build athletes and teams that are prepared to compete, perform under pressure, and fight for the podium at local tournaments.
5-Month Commitment = Training + Competitive Development + Tournament-Day Coaching
